Description

Tile cross
The tile cross is a special and practical piece that is produced for precise spacing between tiles and ceramics in different sizes called tile spacer or tile cross. The use of tile spacers makes the distance between the tiles accurate, as a result, tiling will be beautiful and orderly, and the work speed will increase.

Tiles are designed and produced in sizes 1 to 10 mm, sizes 1 to 6 are for flooring and sizes 7 to 10 are for facades. When colored powder is used for banding, using a tile leveler is a suitable option so that the distance between the tiles’ seams can be accurately implemented and the beauty of the work is preserved.

Method of Use
To install the tiles, we first apply the tile adhesive to the surface with a spatula, then the tiles are aligned on one side and we start to assemble them. The tile spacer is placed at the intersection of two tiles, and after finishing the tiling and the partial adhesion of the tiles to the surface, we pull the spacer out from between the joints with a sharp object and apply grout or mortar.

Consumption :
The number of tile holders depends on the size of the tiling area as well as the size of the ceramic tile, but normally and only by using tile spacers in the bands, the number of tile crosses used is equal to the number of bands on the surface.

Hints
After gluing the tiles, it is recommended to remove the spacer between the tiles and then do the strapping.
If the dimensions of the tiles or ceramics are large, it is recommended to use one or two cross tiles in the space between the seams of the two tiles (inserting a wing of the cross between the seams of the two tiles).
