Plastic tile leveling wrench
Today, modern methods and new tools in flooring have replaced traditional methods. One of the tools that is very useful in modern flooring is the use of leveling flat tiles. The level of the tile consists of two pieces called clips and wedges. The clip is placed between the ceramic tile and the wedge enters the clip slot as a lock and completes the leveling operation. The locking of the wedge inside the clip is done by a tool called a tile leveling wrench, also known as leveling pliers.

The leveling pliers are made of plastic, which has one fixed jaw and two movable jaws. This tool can be purchased and used as a permanent tool if properly maintained.

Method of Use :
As mentioned, the leveling wrench has one fixed jaw and two movable jaws, one of which is for small leveling and the other for medium and large leveling. First, according to the corresponding size, the desired jaw is selected and it is fixed by the locking screw and the other jaw is removed from the wrench mechanism.

The distance between the movable jaw and the fixed jaw is very important because if the distance is too large, the wedge inside the clip will not lock completely. Also, if the distance between the jaws is close, it is possible to break the clip due to high pressure.

Hints :
To adjust the distance, move the movable jaw little by little to the fixed jaw and test on the parallel pliers until you reach the desired size.
After working with a leveling wrench, clean the excess mortar and cement remaining on it, because if this is not done, the adjustment operation will be difficult in the next use.
